Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee meets at Borough Hall, the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm March, April, May, June, September and October in the conference room on the second floor.

About the Board:

The Beautification Committee consists of volunteer gardeners and members with a common goal to beautify New Milford. The committee has completed planting projects at the corner of Holland Avenue and River Edge Road, new flower beds at the front and back entrances of our library, as well as the annual installation of the cornstalks on River Road and Main Street. This would not be possible without the help of our terrific DPW! Our 2 new gardens were created by Girl Scout, Gina Bassone, for her Silver Award (Holland Avenue garden) and Boy Scout Henry Sternberg, for his Eagle Scout project (corner of River Road and Harrison Street).
Working alongside young volunteers has been very rewarding for our members. Join us for some fun and friendship!
