About the Committee:
The New Milford Public Events Committee organizes all public observances. This includes the Memorial Day parade and the ceremonies after the parade, Veterans Day, and the New Milford Holiday Tree Lighting.
The Committee usually meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm at Borough Hall. (Check the calendar for confirmation) Membership is unlimited and members are appointed annually. The Committee has tried to make all the town ceremonies, resident friendly using the Girl and Boy Scouts, local residents and high school students.
