Step 1: Voter checks in at any KNOWink Poll Pad at their polling location.
Step 2: Voter is asked to verify their information.
Step 3: Voter is asked to sign the poll pad for signature verification.
Step 4: Voter proceeds to the Dominion Ballot Marking Device (BMD) to make selections on their ballot.

THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO VOTE:


(1) In-Person at any of the early voting locations. Early Voting Locations (see list here) are open 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Sunday

(2) By Mail with a Vote by Mail Ballot. Vote by Mail Ballots can be mailed (must be postmarked on or before Election Day), dropped off at one of the thirty-one (31) Secure Ballot Drop Box locations (see list here) by 8:00 PM on Election Day or brought to the Board of Elections (1 Bergen County Plaza, Room 310) by 8:00 PM on Election Day - Click video to the right for clarification if needed.

(3) At your regular polling location on Election Day

Mail-In Ballots will NOT be accepted at any polling location (Election Day or Early Voting Location)

New Milford Polling Locations: ****UPDATE****

  • There are now just four polling locations in New Milford - Districts 8 and 9 will now vote at Berkley Street School. There will no longer be voting at the Library.
  • For a complete list of Bergen County Ballot Drop Box locations, please click here
  • njelections.org has an option where you can "TRACK YOUR BALLOT." This permits voters to see if their ballot has been received by the Board of Elections.
